LOS ANGELES, Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Vertical Computer Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VCSY) announced today that it has named Ms. Julie Holmes Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ms. Holmes has over 21 years of experience in accounting and consulting. For fifteen of those years, she has held various positions at Arthur Andersen, L.L.P., the latest of which she was a Senior Manager in the international tax division. At Arthur Andersen, she worked in Hong Kong, Mexico City, Honolulu and Los Angeles. Her clients included Morgan Stanley, Salomon Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Bankers Trust and Andersen Consulting among many others. Ms. Holmes declined a partnership to pursue other ventures. Additionally, Ms. Holmes held consulting positions with Intel and Strategic Compensation Associates.
Ms. Holmes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from California University Long Beach and an MBA from the University of Southern California. She is a CPA holding membership in good standing with the California Society of CPA's and the American Society of CPA's.
